In Italy, in the region of Emilia-Romagna that is home to hospitality and good food, there lies an authentic and original territory set among gently rolling hills with sandy, yellow soil.
The exclusive territory surrounding the Oriolo Tower produces a Sangiovese that is unique for its elegance, sapidity and richness in the mouth.
“By digging down into the sand we discovered our wine’s identity”
THE MAGIC OF THIS TERRITORY IS MAMMOTH
Summer 1987. A mammoth skull emerges from the sands of the hills between Faenza and Forlì. An animal reappears from the past, having been preserved for centuries in these soils. Today the same yellow sands not only preserve the Sangiovese plants of I Sabbioni winery but confer on the wines produced here their qualities of elegance and immediacy.
